GÄNSELIESEL

The Gänseliesel is a fountain that was erected in 1901 in front of the mediaeval town hall of Göttingen, Germany.



GEORG CHRISTOPH LICHTENBERG

Georg Christoph Lichtenberg was a German physicist, satirist and Anglophile. As a scientist, he was the first to hold a professorship explicity dedicated to experimental physics in Germany.



OLD BOTANICAL GARDEN

The Old Botanical Garden of Göttingen University, with an area of 4,5 hectares, is an historical botanical garden maintained by the University of Göttingen. It is only 4,1 km to the Botanical Garden by car.
